Lord, I'll be patient!!! Just PLEASE HURRY!

So many wonderful things are happening everyday that sometimes I have have stop and pinch myself.  Projects that I have been working on for years are falling into place, sponsorship opportunities are appearing out of thin air by just word of mouth...  Everything I have been working toward for the past six years seems to be coming together.  I feel so blessed and I am so thankful.

However, with that type of growth there is inevitably growing pains.  I am so 'Thankful' for the Team Delicious!!! staff, everyone collaborates, supports, encourages and works so incredibly hard on behalf of Life's Delicious!!! TV.  The Team Delicious!!! staff and I share a vision of Life's Delicious!!! TV and I know it is a vision we will realize through patience, dedication, hardwork and a quality product for our viewer's.  Which brings me to my point...

I want to apologize for the quality of the Life's Delicious!!! TV episodes up to this point.  It is not representative of the quality we are aiming toward.  We are experiencing post production issues, and we are deligently working to solve these issues everyday.  I will settle for nothing less than Network quality out off Life's Delicious!!! TV and it is my personal guarantee to dedicate as much time as necessary to post production details until we have these issues fixed.

In the next six months Life's Delicious!!! TV is going to morph into my dreams reality and I pray you stick with us through our growing process.

Our next episode is Monday, March 15; it should be considerably better (from a production aspect) than the March 8th episode- so please tune in and share your thoughts, ideas, complaints etc... any ole' thing!!  I would love to know what you are thinking.

Life is... Predictably, Unpredictable.

Hey Everyone,
Y'all have been so patient waiting for the second episode of The Eat Clean Series on Life's Delicious!!! TV w/Robin Shea; and I assure you it is on the way.  I was all set to tape the show on Wednesday however... Tuesday night my family and I had dinner in Nashville for my third sons birthday, my husband and I ordered the Mahi and within two hours Greg (my husband) was doubled over in pain- it took the food poisoning a little longer to hit me but, by 4:00pm the next afternoon I was also suffering the blow of food poisoning.  We stayed in bed for three full days and I am still a little weak knee'd.

I have rescheduled the taping for Sunday night (February 28) and I will do my best to have it streaming by the early part of next week.  Series 3, 4, & 5 will follow very quickly.

So, Thank you for your patience and your continued interest in The Eat Clean Series.

Just a closing note...  Great article on getting back on track with your workouts after being sick.  http://www.efit-today.com/public/231.cfm

Eat-Clean Diet

An interview Tosca Reno gave!

Meatless Burgers

Meatless Burgers

I found this recipe in The Clean Eating Magazine by Oxygen
Great publication with awesome recipes

1 cup dried green lentils, rinsed

6 cloves garlic, minced

¾ cup yellow onion, diced

2 celery stalks, minced

¼ cup leeks, finely diced

2 tbsp flaxseed, ground-optional

5 tsp Dijon mustard

3 tbsp unsalted tomato paste

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp turmeric

2 tsp cumin

1 cup cooked long grain brown rice

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cook lentils according to package directions.

2. In a large bowl, mix garlic, onion, celery, leeks, flaxseed, Dijon, tomato paste and spices. When lentils are cooked, mash them with the back of a fork, leaving some whole. Add mashed lentils and rice to bowl. Mix all ingredients together.

3. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. While oil is heating, form lentil-rice mixture into 6 patties; add them to pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until brown. Transfer patties to prepared baking sheet and cook in oven for 15 minutes to warm through. Serve with a side salad and topped with diced tomatoes and avocado.
